Thank you for taking the time to nominate someone for this special Blessingway promotion. These Terms & Conditions explain how the promotion works and what is included in the prize.
1. Who can nominate?
The promotion is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
You must nominate someone you genuinely know and you cannot nominate yourself.
Each person may submit one nomination only. If more than one nomination is submitted by the same person, only the first valid nomination will be considered.
2. Who can be nominated?
The person you nominate must:
- be pregnant at the time of entry;
- live in Bristol or within approximately 15 miles of BS1;
- be someone you genuinely know; and
- be able to take part in the Blessingway before 31 March 2027.
The Promoter reserves the right to check eligibility before confirming the winner.
3. What should I include in my nomination?
The winning nomination will be chosen based on the thoughtfulness and sincerity of what you write.
Tell us about the person you’re nominating and why you feel they would value or benefit from having a Blessingway.
There is no particular story we’re looking for. We’re simply interested in a genuine, heartfelt nomination that tells us something about the person and why this experience would be meaningful to them.
4. How will the winner be chosen?
There will be one winner.
The winner will be personally selected by the Promoter based on the thoughtfulness and sincerity of the nomination.
This is not a random prize draw. The Promoter will make the final decision after considering all eligible nominations.
The Promoter’s decision is final.
5. What is the prize?
The winner will receive:
One collaboratively designed and facilitated Blessingway Ceremony, worth £330.
The Blessingway will be created together with the winner and their selected friends, so that the ceremony is personal and meaningful to them.
The £330 prize covers the collaborative design and facilitation of the ceremony by the Promoter.
Venue costs, if a venue is hired, are not included and will need to be arranged and paid for by the winner.
Any additional costs associated with the venue or other suppliers are also the responsibility of the winner unless agreed otherwise in advance.
The prize has no cash alternative and cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for another service.
6. Arranging the Blessingway
The date of the Blessingway will be mutually agreed between the winner and the Promoter and must take place before 31 March 2027.
The date is subject to the Promoter’s availability.
The Promoter will do their best to accommodate the winner’s preferred date, but cannot guarantee availability on any particular day.
If the winner is unable to agree a suitable date before 31 March 2027, the prize may be forfeited.
If circumstances outside either party’s reasonable control mean that the agreed date needs to change, the Promoter will do their best to arrange an alternative date before the deadline.
7. Accepting the prize
The selected winner will be contacted using the details provided as part of the nomination.
Before the prize is confirmed, the winner will need to confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements and are happy to accept the prize.
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 21 days, is no longer eligible, or does not wish to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to select another eligible nomination.
8. Photography
Professional photography will take place during the Blessingway.
The primary purpose of the photography is to document the facilitator and her work, although the winner and other people attending the Blessingway may also appear in photographs.
The photography arrangements and use of images are covered by separate Photography & Image Use Terms (see below), which can be provided to the winner before the Blessingway.
Accepting this prize does not automatically mean that the winner agrees to unrelated marketing communications or to their personal story being used for promotional purposes.
9. Your personal information
Information provided as part of a nomination will be used to administer the promotion, assess eligibility and contact the relevant people about the prize.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available on request.
Entering the promotion does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.
10. A few final things
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse a nomination or withdraw the prize if they reasonably believe that the entry does not meet these Terms & Conditions or contains deliberately false or misleading information.
The Promoter may amend or withdraw the promotion if circumstances outside their reasonable control make this necessary.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Frequently asked questions
A blessingway ceremony can take place almost anywhere that feels comfortable, peaceful and personal to the parent-to-be. Many people choose to hold their blessingway at home, where everyone can gather in a relaxed and familiar space.
A blessingway ceremony is usually a small, intimate gathering of the parent-to-be’s closest friends and family. Traditionally these circles were attended by women — mothers, sisters, aunts and trusted friends — but many modern blessingways are more flexible and inclusive. Blessingways take their name from traditional ceremonies of the Diné (Navajo) people of North America, whose cultural and spiritual traditions honour harmony, balance and important life transitions.
A blessingway is a more intimate, conscious gathering, focused on celebrating the transition of the parent-to-be and supporting them emotionally and spiritually. A baby shower is often gift-focused and purely celebratory. As a Bristol celebrant, I can create either — or a beautiful blend of both.
Blessingways are not religious ceremonies, as they do not belong to an organised faith tradition with shared doctrines, sacred texts, recognised leaders or established rituals. Blessingways take their name from traditional ceremonies of the Diné (Navajo) people of North America, whose cultural and spiritual traditions honour harmony, balance and important life transitions.
Yes — I’m happy to travel beyond Bristol and the South West, provided travel expenses are covered and suitable accommodation is arranged where necessary.
It’s best to book as early as possible, especially for summer weddings, but I’ll always try to accommodate shorter notice where I can.
We’ll arrange an initial conversation to talk through your ideas, and if you decide to book, I’ll secure your date and begin crafting your ceremony.
As much as you like — every ceremony I create is fully personalised around you.
Yes — a deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the ceremony.
